You must patch the executable. Search for the current resolutions in the assembly code and patch where needed with larger values. It should work.

do not really understand, I look in the newer patch where an interesting Resolution me there and view the code?

i think i asked Lat to do this once but it messes some things up. older clients just aren't designed to support it
