Some more info would be useful.
Client side:
Well it depends on how you are running your game really
1. Server.dat handles the servers for the client if your not using a custom launcher
2. Custom launcher usually has a config file with it open it by double clicking or using notepad to check the servers ip
Source Side
Not really used much sources but i would guess they would be the same just different folders/names but they hold a config file as well which will allow you to edit the server ip
bin->debug->etc
