NewestCoServer is bad, but not hidden keyloggers bad - and the features worked, more or less. We did have a source that was kind of banned here before called ConquerSX. That's the closest comparison that I can come up with.

Conquer-SX was complete garb, and its a blessing its now around anymore. I'm not saying let's allow that messi revision to be posted here. Keyloggers are a no go. So I concur with not allowing that source to be posted on these boards. But if people do so choose to make the decision to use it, the least we can do is either, A: Assist them with the issues they have at hand with the source, or B: Give them a push in the right direction to make the decision to use another source, and provide them the help they need to learn. As long as they want to make an effort. Though our Conquer community is small, that doesn't mean we only assist with problems that we deem fit for our assistance. For example, NCS is garbage. Some people didn't agree with the source being public since it was so bad. Like Jack for example. I'm sure he had the same views we all did on it, but he assisted members all the time if they requested. Same goes for back in our LOTF days. Saint, Roy, and all the other advanced members didn't agree with LOTF being the source of choice, but I do remember seeing them post helpful things and give members the help they needed. I posted a thread asking for help with LOTF back in 07/08( can't really remember), and Roy posted in it helping me, telling me how do perform a specific action. Instead of telling me "That source is bad, and we don't support it," he helped me. So who are we to say that other members don't deserve the same respect. We are a friendly community, and if members request help, the least we can do is that.

u should blame the one who make its codes more horrible than newbie that want to use it.

i have already seen every edited trinty based source released in any forum.
some don't know what they do and make the source even worse. and some make a good work in it.
me myself was using every source released but never asked stupied question about bugs.
but when i tried to learn i started to ask a stupid question but that gave me the will and knowledge to do better later.

so we should support every stupid question they ask only if they want to help themselves but giving some effort in the thing they want to do(solve)

the OP obv. is not going to put any effort in this, starting by the point that he bought that source.

Fang is a more experienced programmer now, YEARS have been passed since he used NCOS, i haven't seen a 'double stand' opinion about this, Hyporcrite doesn't fit correcty here.

I agee that people should use the source they wants, but now, most of the times, we just have noobs coming from arabs/spanish forums asking the solution to a bug in the source that they downoaded in those forums.

i know the solution for error cuz i used breakpoints when i have it.
and i think he don't have the knowledge to do this rightnow
so if u don't help him will be useless. as the problem is too stupid

I wasn't going to say anything about that since this thread should have nothing to do with me, but when I worked on NewestCoServer, I was actually teaching myself programming to answer my own questions. If I asked a question here, it was because I spent days trying to work through it on my own - and I provided the more experienced members with as much debugging information as I could. Threads like these are what's wrong with this section, just posting and image and naming the thread "help". You're right, the source isn't entirely what's bad, it's the members who use it as well. Together, they create a real problem here, but I suppose who cares at this point. If people want to use the bugged sources, I suppose we can let them... but there's no way I'm supporting threads like these.
