This has been in development for quite some time already, but I feel now is a good time to start this development thread as progress continues.
Also want to mention that many of the finer details still haven't been decided or are yet set in stone.
And there is no tentative release date yet either, but stay tuned to this thread to find out more information as it is available!
So without further ado, I would like to introduce:
Conquer 1.5 - A mix of classic and modern. Attempting to bring the best of both worlds into one existence.
Do you love the classic days? Where you had to work for your gear? Where the only way to socket your gear was to spam mets? Where other players couldn't buy their character to the top of the boards?
But do you love some of the newer features like Second Reborn? Dis City? 130 weapons?
Then this is going to be the server for you. Bringing together all the features that made the game great, yet adding some unique twists and turns to make it even better!
The little details mean everything to me, so if it can be done. I am going to try add it!
This will be a mix between a levelling and PVP server. You will need both as they go hand in hand in order to make your gear. (Honor System Teaser)
This will be a low to medium rate server. You will not reach 130 in a day, and most will not even reach it within weeks.
This server is being designed to last. Nothing is going to be handed to you on a silver platter. Do you want to be the best? Then be prepared to work for it.
There will be NO CP drops. The only way to get CPs will be to exchange DragonBalls.
I will continue to post development and spoilers here. As I said at the beginning, there is no release date yet. But the development is active and progressing nicely.
In all honesty, that release is quite old that I don't believe the name will become an issue.
That being said, if lostsolder05 does have an issue with it. I will gladly remove the name.

If you want the official algorithm for TQ spawns, check in my COPS v7 Emulator source. I reimplemented it and it works well.
I took their spawn database. And converted their weird values using their algorithm from their EO source that you posted at some point.
So it pretty much is the official spawns.
So I do have a question for you. Why do you prefer the TQ spawn system against what you had before? Did the mobs spawn in a better format than the system prior to TQ's?
my guess is because tqs database has all spawns, amount to spawn, there actions on death and spawn etc etc saves alot of time coding in 300+ spawn points.

Not talking about their database entries. I'm referring to the actual calculations.
Well ulti is right. Everything is there.
All the mob spawns ranging from TC all the way to other maps like moonbox, dis city, AZ, metzone.
Spawn times, and amount to spawn per generation. Its really authentic to the point where I personally can't tell the difference between that and retail CO.
When your stuck making your own spawns for each map, and trying to get them correct...its a huge pain.
So converting TQs system was a much more viable and accurate option.
This is my dream server but you will mess it up and add 2.0 stuff into it and ruin it
I wish there was a pure 1.0 server out there I mean I dont care if it uses a 2.0 client etc with the features removed just that it ACTUALLY is 1.0 Love2Hate, Classic Conquer all claim to be the new 1.0 pservers and suck hard because they added there own stuff :S why cant we see a pure 1.0 server which I for one would play because that was the best co experience for me after all the new features were added I had to quit co because it just wasent the same anymore
You will probably make the best close 1.0 server out there which will probably end up with me playing it if your gonna actually run it as a server and wish you the best of luck, Wish I could programme a server myself completely from scratch, Slowly learning one day I will
The Redux source Pro4 made is amazing and if he fixed the bridge errors and the mob AI w/e it is then id use it too because I have heard many people say how easy it is to upgrade/downgrade and remove/add features into it and its coded more clean in a way everyone can understand

Everyone seems to praise Redux for some reason. Its almost as bad as LOTF was. Constant Stackoverflows caused by a fucking flawed implementation of memcpy, move and set. Also a flawed socket system wich results in infitite loops every now and then. The bugs Specy and I had to fix so he could run a propper server are countless and yet everyday there are more surprises.
The Bridges aka scenes and the Mob AI are probably the two most unimportant factors here.
While Redux runs fine if there arent too many players playing, after you hit the 20+ for over 6 hours it fails hard. Really hard.

Conquer 1.0 development 08/31/2009 - CO2 Private Server - 1 Replies I was messing around trying to connect to CO1 client 4251. I was wondering if the Auth Response packet was changed after this client because I am not getting any response from the Client. I can connect to the 4351 client without problems.
I would appreciate any help.
