You will need it if the source's drop chances are inside the source. This is why I seriously recommend people that request help, to please provide the information if they code on the program or not.
The list of text you found is nothing more than monster data for the client, which the server might use, but has nothing to do with Drop Rates.
Well if the source you use has Script engine to it, then that's another case.
but seeing as you don't program at all, scripting might be out of the questions.
