Rise Of Cronus [Open Source project] Coming soon.
Hello everybody, i had some free time to finish my project and i am going to open it soon, But before i do there is few stuff i would like to talk about.
My project is not made to make money which means every single thing i use for my project will be open source and can be used by anyone.
Now the question is: will there be anything useful for us to use?
Well here is what will be open source.
Source:
I am using 5065 Redux source which means it already public for you, but i will use few custom codes to make few systems if you want that your welcome to pick it up there will be a spot in my website where you can find the code.
Launcher:
The launcher will have news spot where it will automatically get the news from your web host or localhost,
Moving Pictures etc... etc...
Website:
all the website HTML,CSS,JS parts will be free for all i will willing to give out coz i have been using some cool ways of controlling my template with functions and your welcome to get it.
PHP:
The register and login php i cannot share only because i do not want people to know how i build it since that can put my players accounts in risk.
So ones ROC come out you all are welcome to come play and also get whatever you need.

Will you allow commits? If so, how will you manage it?

Speaking from a strictly security point of view, releasing your register PHP scripts will pose as a potential security risk.
(Please, don't tell me I'm wrong, Any argument you have will not invalidate ^)

To be honest I see no benefit in this project. Redux has a active open source community and gets improved all the time. But hey, I could be totally wrong.
My question was in regards to if there is a SVN or GitHub for it where we can either fork and pull request or svn commit changes so more ppl can work on it simultaniously.

no no, what i mean is that whatever i will use for my project is all open source,
if i am making autopatcher its open source and people can get it.
if i am going to edit my client (maps, items) people can get them.
if i am going to add few new systems people are welcome to get them.
Here is one of the tools i made today, some game company ask permission from players if they can send the text message in there phone is something is up.
so i made the program where you send message from computer to phone
and stuff like that.

Well, I've advised you against this sort of thing before... I'm sure you're familiar with the outcome of your previous attempts. Why not start smaller than this? Why does it always have to be something so large and grand? If you want to contribute to Redux, it's not too late. You can always make something for it and pass it through to Chris.

Open-Source Project

Hey everyone,
So, you might remember that I said I was going to make a new open source after Christmas, and I wasn't joking around about that. I'm going to make an open source for multiple games offered by NetDragon Websoft. You all chose Conquer Online (1.0) and Era of Faith. I might add Warlords to it but we'll see.
Now, a few things have changed. First, the project doesn't have to be in C++ anymore. I got the job and I'm working on C# programs there (the company is changing to C#)....

Hey everyone,
I haven't made a public project, ever. I'm still working on Kibou (Burning Skies) and that will be returning this winter; however, I feel very bound to that project (and the C# language). I enjoy it, but I'd also like to work on something new. Something for the month that I'm off to do while I'm bored of re-documenting Kibou. That's why I want to make a new project that's not in C#. I want to make a VC++ project. I chose VC++ because I'm more familiar with it (and because I...

Ok so, as a few of you know ive been working on an open source project for a little while with the intention of having a number of people contribute to it, this hasnt happened for whatever reason so i figured i would try and get different people involved.
This project is to create a base which will work for any client version, be secure, reliable and maintainable. Currently the base is setup to work with a standard 4267 client, and any number of people can login, your character is defined by...

Open Source C++ Project

Hello,
Currently I am working, on an Emulator written in C++. My goal is to make a strong group of programmer, who are interested to make a "free 2 use" emulator.
You donīt have to be "professional" or "24/7" programmer, everyone is welcome.
If you see things on the Code or you know how to do it faster / better you can apply a Patch via SVN. If you do this you will be automatically a "Team Member".
Here are some Tips to Submit / Edit an existing Code.
