Revamped/Updated


Ok so I been working on my server some and I'm starting to get to the point where testing everything myself is a bit slow (adding lots of features every day although it's still a long way from finished)


Things I have so far that are working and tested (mostly tested, still some bugs, some I know about some I don't)


Db lvling: Done, no daily limit currently (already added to database, just need to add it to the script and make it reset daily, for now leaving it unlimited so ppl have a use for their db's)
Botjail: ~80 pct: Working and implemented, some stuff needs to be edited and I need to have the /botjail playername command add botjail status to the person targeted not the gm, simple fix but for now just had the npc inside jail do it for me. Also need to disable /scroll in that map and other teleport items. Simple to do but not implementing till botjail actually has a use
Autopatch/revamped website: ~80 pct: It's working but site still needs alot done to it (such as top players, that script is complete shit rofl!)
reborn guards/summons: 80-90 pct: working, attacking, giving exp properly. Some bugs
Skills/xp skills: 70-80 pct, few bugs but everything is working
Magic Gates: 99 pct, not yet dropping from mobs, teleport to any city
Hero Cards: 99 pct, dropping from mobs. Adds random 1-10 cp on use 1/100 chance of wining 500 cp
Met/Db Storage: 100 pct, met/db values are SEPARATE! NOT combined. No more trading mets for db's and them being all stored as metpoints. Also prints out how much of each you have
Random Scrolls: 99 pct!!! WORKING but needs reward to be fixed. ADDING MORE COORDS. ANY PLAYER CAN HELP WITH THIS AND IT HELPS ALOT!
Lotto: 90 pct, added a ton of items to it and changed around rates. It's not perfect but it's working
Composing: 70 pct, works semi decently. Progress not saved if item is dropped, + stones having problems, few other minor things. Not a priority right now
Lots of simple text npcs done but that's not really a priority either
Welcomer: 90 percent. Gives server info, levels/stats based on profession, items based on class (ONLY ONCE! Finally added database function to check if you have claimed before), prof based on job. Need to add skills to it (I have it done, just not implemented that part)
SpecialMap: Just threw some hard monsters onto one of the maps, gonna implement stat booster drops from them tomorrow. That will all have to be tested in combination with the welcomer npc (so it doesn't remove stats you have gained from special items)


I'm sure there is more that I'm working on but I can't think of it right now.

Looking for testers only or people wanting to help. If anyone wants to be helpful I'd really appreciate it. Right now I only got 3-4 people coming on to test me which is great but none of them know scripter at all so they are mostly just testing.

REALLY could use some people to fill out random teleport database for me. That's something that any player can do and be helpful. Not the "ideal" thing to do for fun but if you wanna help, I could really use it.

Updated main post with some new features added (mostly skills/wepskills/xpskills and some other small updates such as botjail command and db lvling)

Added auto patch to client (please run the patch on site AFTER using our client, client uploaded currently does not have auto patch built in)

Updated first post slightly.

Looking for people to add random portal points. System is 99 pct functional currently (only needs reward system added... and that's added it's just 1 error that I haven't had time to fix yet)

22 random portal locations added so far (loading from database, added gm command to reload the RScroll database so I don't need to reload server every time database is updated)




HeroCard: 100 percent, drops from monsters, random cp awarded on use complete with system msg telling you how much




Lottery: 90 percent, works perfectly, more items need to be added. For now added normal + items to it (because they are less buggy in composing, allows people to + their gear with lotto items)

Magic Gates: 99 percent, works perfectly, all main maps added to npc. Not droping from mobs currently.

Server Info Npc: 75 percent. Functions added work perfectly (except possibly bow proff on archer)

Does NOT blindly add proff/stats.
Only gives out items once
Gives class based items without having to choose what class you are
Stats are set based on your proffession, will NOT REDUCE STATS. This is because I am implementing stat boost items tomorrow that will add extra stat points to players who hunt them. Using npc will not remove these stats (already coded and working)
Spells section not yet added

It loads them just fine from database but if I reduce the amount of random teleports down to 1 EVERY time you run that section of the script it tells me you rolled 1, you needed 2.

For some reason the int Z = Nano.Rand.Next(1, (Nano.SPoints.Count + 1)); REFUSES to add the 1, I've tried using more brackets, less brackets, extra variables to try to add the 1 before doing the random. Nothing :O...

God that took a long time and I still don't know why it wont roll the top number but w/e. I fixed it by using a seperate function adding 1 to it and then rolling that instead. Works like a charm!



Random scroll reward = working!

You can test the script w/o using random scrolls on my server by using the option "test script" on the welcomer npc.

/item RandomScroll 1 0 0 0 0 0
if you have gm/pm to get one (obvious but figured I'd state it)

Going to bed now, I'll check in the morning and if anyone wants they can have gm for testing purposes.

ooh also I made a patch and put it on the site (under downloads).

It contains the custom random scroll (if you spawn it w/o having run the patch you wont see it in your inventory) as well as the server.dat and conquer.exe (called AlchemyCo.exe, run that to play)

client must be 5095 before patching obviously

srry for double post: bumping thread as it has a use and isn't old enough to justify making a new thread.

Updated main post, new features added, new website, skills added to server (ooohhh time to squash some bugs), auto patch feature, botjail command etcetcetc.

fog works on players, only 1 tick on mobs. Considering doing same for players cause fog is just soooo annoying lol



Random cp reward (1/100 chance) from opening hero cards (dropping from mobs now) as well as xp skills working (also w/ ko counter)

Anyways if you want to help me test, develop, report bugs or even just fill out some random teleport points I'm looking for ppl.
