Starting a server
hello everyone
First of all I'm not sure where to post this so sorry if it is in the wrong section.
I want to start an offline server just for me. Ofcourse I did some research but almost every guide I find is death or links are not working.
My question is can someone pls give me a matching source + client with a guide.

Yah, this is in the wrong section. The advertisements section is reserved for conquer online private servers that are already up and running (and public).
As far as answering your question, there are a few source guides around. Check the stickies and search around. The easiest one to get started is NewestCoServer v2 (the 5165 official thread stickied to the release section). Cheers.

Recently i have seen dozens and dozens of new private servers springing up, and i have seen many of these so called "Creators" spamming numerous threads about their servers *cough* evolution *cough*. However the problem is that these servers fail, they are mostly shit that is based off other peoples work. I have no problem with people trying to create servers for their own private purposes using other people's sources, i have been trying to myself to create one for my friends and to fool around...
