[Problem]Ports

Hello ePvPers

i have a Problem here hoping You to Help Me To Solve It Well My Server Was Not Connecting Because of Ports [ They were Closed ] So i Opened them But the Client Still Crush

If it's a hamachi ip then there's no need to port forward
If it's a network ip then there's no need to port forward
If it's an external ip then you need to forward it from your router, not on your computer (not familiar with this software you're using but it's unlikely it will work with your router)


More likely you're just not using the proper server when you try to log in.
Assuming both game and login server are debugged and running without any errors and you've set up the database/configured your loader then you should be able to log in without issues.


This is referencing the info you posted about your setup in the albetros thread.


Use lucky7 as the server when you login and double check that login server as well as your conquerloader settings are all using the proper (likely hamachi) ip address.

non-handled database error maybe ? or different client version ?
could cause this ? i remember in trinity that non-handled db errors at source may crash it

for the OP
search at the start for "rest MYSQL rootpassword"
it will open a console , go to the server configuration file
get the database password and make sure both are the same

go to the navicate , select the connection and test it
if it worked make sure that the database name is the same as the name in the configuration file
(if you don't have a database or connection then create a connection with everything as it is , change the root password with the password we just reset that is also identical to the password in the server configuration file , test connection , if succ. then create , then create database with the name of the database in the configuration file , import(excute) the sql file pro uploaded on his thread)
test again

if still fucked up then tell me more dam information , is it only the server that crash ? is it the server and client ? do you even run the server ? does it show up any errors ?

but most likely if you did all that then it's the client that is fucked up

sorry about earlier but im really having a shitty viruses and false positives which players complaining about then i stupidly fucked up the client i had instead of fixing it and it takes 6 hrs to upload another client , wish you good luck

He claimed it was not connecting to login server at all which would indicate he wasn't using the correct server. There are some that use non standard ports and conquerloader by default does not overwrite that as it used to.

what you need ? a connection
how to create a connection ? you already got one , just edit it's infor
what is the root password ? rest it as showen in the picture
and you should edit it in the config. file in the server aswell

now what else you need ? a database
how to create a database ? right click and create a new database
call it "MYSQL55" or call it anything but change that mysql55 in the config. file for the same name
execute the database pro4never added on his thread

what is the execute ? right click on the database you want and execute an sql file

what sql file contains ? it contains commands for the navicate that navicate turns to a table
why you need a database ? to store stuff from server and to give stuff to server

how the connection happens ? server connect to the navicate connection using appache (someone confirm this) , what parameters server need to connect ? the host,root,pass and database to connect to

you are not connecting to an existing database which already showen in the error dialog

trust me no one can help you unless you try to help yourself in the first place
my server client was totally fucked up and im up now for 23 hrs working on it , didn't came here posting asking for help , and that 23 hrs wasn't a waste , i've seen more than 20 error and unexpected bugs which i can solve later if i found them again , try to work your ass out and read about whatever you want to do as much as possible , asking others should be the last option

Well ..i Have been Helping My Self Bro but that is the part i dont know so i ask it do u see any other parts i ask in .. No so Whatever .
Now What i Have done For Now : I Did Not use That Rest MYSQL Root Password So it Went to Another think i Uninstalled Every thing [ My Sql 5.5 And Navicate my Sql Aswell ] in order to change password During Installtion of My Sql So i did So i change the passowrd ..Then i Tried to Change that Password I Google it i found that code [ command to use it in Comman Line ]

UPDATE mysql.user SET Password=PASSWORD('MyNewPass') WHERE User='root';
FLUSH PRIVILEGES;

yup it worked and i change the password Sucessfully !
So..After i change the password Sucessfully i wen to the navicate and tested my localhost [ which was with the Old Password ] it said : 1045 - Acess Denied For User 'root'@'localhost' ( Using Password = YES )
i guess that is Good to try the New Password .. I used the New Password to Make the New Connection where i made new database excuted the SQL file in the source

You now have your database name wrong... According to that screenshot you entered your database name as being mysql55 when using the configuration tool.

Check navicat or w/e for what database you made and executed the .sql backup in.

Well i change the Base Name into MySQL55 instead of localhost as u said

He's still not running the login server as far as I can see.

In NONE of his screenshots has he shown a functioning login server. Login server AND game server must both be working. Seems you have the configurations both working. Make sure login server is running and you use a valid server (such as lucky7).

Gonna sound a touch rude here but come on... every single bit of this has been covered in the setup guide and the faq thread. It shouldn't take days of posting back and forth to instal 2-3 programs, type your db info and run 2 files.

Dont Say Rude it is good thing that i learn from my mistake and i admit them all ^_^ Well i took this advise Dude and every thing Worked !

Btw When You Answer Your Qestion Your Not Helping Only 1 Person Your Helping all Having the same problem ..Also When You Answer My Question i use them to Help others that face this problem and I EVEN learn from what You Say and Always Post

That's not an error. You get disconnected when you've finished creating a character so you can login.

It's cause there was some really weird bugs popping up if we let you just login without disconnecting first.
