$1600 wasted away if you ask me. If someone managed to crack codeveil, and release it to the warez scene, then you know whatever comes from IT can be cracked (Therefore, not worth the money)

Well i managed to unpack it so i guess your right it was pointless using it lol.
Now all i have to do is find where it breakpoints for the keys and how it works and completely jump it directly to loginserver.
After i do so i will release it to everyone i deam worthy to have it,I was going to just keep it to myself for all the work of crackin it but anyone trying to make $40 a pop off kids for a stupid co login server deserves there project cracked and givin away free.

Bad Bad Bad Tw3ak. Cracking CodeVeil 1.3, tsk tsk tsk . Go fix them .reloc and .rsrc sections so that MSIL looks prettier.
Advice for the coder of the program though:
Rename your objects. Don't leave them named "Form1", "button1", "textBox1"
Don't use other people's code and make slight changes and call it your own. Credit where credit is due.
Don't using keys that are easily recognized as hash codes. SHA256 will not make it indimmidating to a cracker.
Release it for free to help community grow and ask for donations if money is an issue. Enforcing paid license will only bring you so much cash. Donations can bring you more.

I've hosted many server, and I run CID Proxy, i get absolutely no donations, yet thousands of people use it. What does that say ? (hint: I should start charging for it)

The author is fully aware that software can't be "protected", he is one of the more capable members of this community (and a certain other). However, packing software is a deterrent - anyone can use Dis# on an unpacked assembly, but unpacking it atleast requires some form of intelligence.
I can assure you, between you and tweak, you spent more time "cracking" it than author did "protecting" it in a few dozen lines of code. Still, I can imagine how easy a task it was, .Net assemblies are so easy to reverse.
I don't see what the big fuss about $40 is though. It's nothing to anyone with a job. As I already mentioned, you could earn that in less time it takes to code an account server, no matter what your skill level. There's no harm in someone wanting a bit of money for investing their time.

Oh, and I will also LOL at your attempts to crack latest CID, because you'll run out of coffee before you even get close
They're not my secrets. I know the author ot the app though, and It's written from scratch, (or using code from a certain community from which he is a member, and is free to use. If you think that code looks like something you've seen elsewhere, question where the "author" of that code got it).
Anyway, I assumed you'd be having a go at cracking CID by the "something to do on winter days" comment. I'm sure someone will end up having a try at cracking it anyway, but it has adequate protection for most part. Of course, it's never perfect, but figuring it out will be a ballache for anyone.

whats to crack ? it's free lol anyone can download cid,And even if he did protect it and charge $$ for it i wouldn't try to crack it because i wouldn't want noobs all having it ruining co like they allready have.
I would welcome a $$ paid proxy i really wish he would..He spends hours of his time developing it and keeping it updated for what ?? leechers to beg for it all day.Offering it for free is his choice but even if it wasn't it wouldn't be any harder then anything else to break it if i wanted to use it...I heard same thing from people about proproxy and nproxy and were easily diassembled...Cid is no different it is created by same people...It doesn't interest me as i don't play tq co anymore i sold off all my chars long ago for $$ and will never return to it.
