Couldn't you just make it where once you reach a low amount of dura, like 3 or 4, that a server message just pops on on the middle of your screen telling you that you're in need of repair? Would be a much simpler task.

omg what dont u get this: i have dura fully working with messages at 2 and 1 dura, but i miss the effect thats all

ill have a look through my .dds files for ya.

EDIT: Found it! Be glad i don't hold a grudge.

File path is \c3\effect\skill\EquipBroken (if you have the c3.wdf extracted)

and i am guessing the skill name is EquipBroken

I'll give you a hint: there's an ItemUse type that updates an item's durability.
Using that packet, if you send the durability as zero, the client will recognize it and send that effect.

The leaked EO source is a good reference.

MY GODNESS , I GOT THE DURA FULLY WORKING! , i was just missing an effect , in real words , like any other effect (e.g. 2NDMapCh.....< the effect of 2 rb )

If you sent durability updates through the packet, you wouldn't need to send the effect. Remember when everyone wanted to send the second reborn effect in the string packet, when it was just a field in the character info/spawn packets? You're repeating that.

alli was asking was an frking effect that will show if ur dura is 0. thats all.....and u`re going to spam this thread with other things....nasty!

Your stupid....there is an item modifier packet that reduces dura, when that packet is sent to/from the client and the dura is set to 0 it automically displays the effect.

So essentially what you doing is modifying the dura INCORRECTLY, not the way it was intended to be, and all these nice people have been doing is trying to help you do it CORRECTLY but apparently your to stubborn to accept their help.

They're just saying that, when someone attacks you and you do the calculations for decreasing durability and when it reaches 0, you send the ItemUsage packet (1009 type) with dura being 0. When client gets this packet it will automatically handle the effect.

OMG....who said i dun get it, if someone gives me an packet for item dura`s same as emme`s they i`ll do it as the right way , till that thats my way .
