Private Server setup

Hey guys, well I'm completley new to coding/setting up a conquer online private server. I've played a couple however would really enjoy making and producing one myself, although i don't know anything about coding.

Are there any links that can help me study coding, will i have to study the subject a lot or are there just a few principles i will need to go over. Do i even need to study coding? Are there links/threads that have all the clients and .rars you need to get a server up and running.

As i said im completley new to this matter, please drop me a PM any of you who wish to help me out

Yes you need to learn programming in order to make changes in a source or if you get good enough you can basically create your own.

The best public source atm is albetros however i would recommend that you start on a lower patch in order to learn a bit more about how the sources works.

well i think this is the most helpful c# course on the internet as it's 200 episode of videos so u don't need to read , testing everything for u , fun and easy way to start over

also u will need to check properties , methods , classes and more at msdn lib.

well it looks unfamiliar at the very first then u will get used to it

umm also there is a great topics advanced and newbie topics on msdn forum also some learning videos and articles


a good source ? never get into it before u r pretty good at coding also at networking , crypto and bit wise

well albetros is good to start with but yes u need lower patch to learn more on how to connections works
there is a blog for fang (search for the link urself -.-) which is actually great , there is impulse source and hybird source of low patch
i recommended hybird one of 5095 , there isn't many features and u can learn how the connection really works , then go to any of the custom c# sources of a new patch to check out the quests and handlers and pla pla pla to learn from it

once u get this all done then u r ready to even create ur own private server
wish anyone was there to tell me the same i just told u when i was new to programming
