[Opinion] Just my thoughts

Before I begin, I'd like to say gratz to Emme and Kinshi for all their releases. Good stuff guys. That being said, the rest of this topic is for all the LEACHERS out there who don't seem to get it.

STOP LEACHING!!!! Sounds simple, and your all probably thinking, what a ****, right? I only say this because Copy and Pasting other peoples work teaches your NOTHING about how to code, run a server, fix errors, and create a good community. All these releases are for an unstable server source that 80 percent of noobs are currently using. Why not take the time to learn HOW to CODE and ENTIRE SERVER, then use these magnificent releases as EXAMPLES for your new server.

Now, there are those out there who believe that learning to code is not important, and your right. If you want to continue to release these noobishly coded, unstable servers then by all means, please do. If you want something truely unique, and something that you can be genuinely proud of, take the 3 to 4 weeks it'll require to learn coding, and do it on your own. (Not too many people can learn to code in a month, but you can atleast learn enough to code a basic server in this time.)

I hope you all don't just flame away, and actually take the time to read and contemplate what I've said. Thank you.

but when coders are releasing their codes its their own foult of its getting leeched

Well ty for this post okay it is 100 percent true. Okay when i first started it was with Samehvan's thing. When i figured how to open the source. I was like wtf is all this gibberish ****. But now no, because i try i learnt from all of emme and kinshis releases. I haven't got the comsept down 100 percent but i try. I have questions here and there because its somthing thats rare or new to me and it makes you go all dumb in the head thinking of what it is. But uhh ty for this post people should learn not leach all the time. I could still use some learning here and there but oen some stuff to code i just done understand where i goes like char cs data cs so on and so forth but im starting to get it sorta TY EMME KINSHI AND ALL OTHERS

I would say,this is what you do,its really simple actually:

[Learn the basics,when to use which variables at which time, the bracklet basic and other stuffs]

[Now,start progressing. You could start off by doing small console applications,then move over to NPCs and commands in LOTF source / or any other source.]

[Now,you are ready to LOOK into the released codes here,and see if you understand them. If not,post an question in that thread, this is an example of what I would and would'nt answer on.

Would'nt answer : "Hey man explain me the whole code so I can make my own and better"

Would answer : "Hey there,I am wondering,why are you putting xx there instead of an xx? Thanks"


You see the consept? Well, when you starting to really understand the codes,you can move over to more advanced coding,lets say,rewriting stuffs. While time goes,you are capable enough later on to code your own source,with help, (ofcourse).
Do your best and e*pvp are here for you.
Then,you can start copy+paste,then rewrite them so they fit into your source!

yup, im learning the areas of the DLL references atm, theres alot of usefull ones iv found =D. As for my source im done with it, just need to do the packets which im doing now.
