Your terminology makes no sense....
"Private servers" are not a thing... unless you mean you are the only person using them in which case you mean Dedicated servers.
Your options are either a dedicated or vps. Vps are cheaper and less powerful because the same machine is shared among multiple users (depends on company and package you buy... often anywhere between 3-20 people on one machine)
Dedicated often costs at least 3-5 times as much but you have MUCH better performance and reliability. It all boils down to your needs and budgets.
