Need Working Guide p server setup

I've been working some time looking for a private server.
I sometimes see people leaving comments that it works.
but then the progammas you need uploaded to megaupload
and that site is thrown out by the government.

I'm looking for one of the newest as it can. So without hamachi.
So does anyone have a working guide
