[Question] Bypass play.exe

I play on ClassicCO and the last patched messed up the play.exe, I would keep getting a JIT debugging issue which I couldn't fix. Is there a method in which I can auto-run conquer that would skip the entire autopatch sequence?

I don't know much programming so if you could give the easiest explanation on how, it'd be very much appreciated.

Yes. Just create a shortcut to conquer.exe and add at that shortcut's target ' blacknull'

Run that shortcut amd you wont have troubles

I've added the ' blacknull' to the very end of the target file but I'm still encountering the same screen:

Fundamentally ... yes. I said Conquer.exe not play.exe

The reason I made and targeted the shortcut for play.exe was because I have no conquer.exe in the folder.




Those are exactly the files in my folder, so if I'm supposed to look for conquer.exe, I'm completely lost. The conquer there in the picture is conquer.ico, only the icon (4kb).

It means you dont have the actual client, just a patch. Download the client, run the autopatcher(could be play.exe) and it should work fine.

OMG dude last patch work fine
and second you need patch 9004-9005.Download again ClassicCO and last patch 9004-9005

Put this in the selected directory and it will start the Conquer.exe directly.

If you want the code reflect it, though if you do use it I wouldnt mind credits for showing you

download last patch from main page Classic Conquer Conquer.exe is in it

The blacknull has nothing to do with play.exe which is the autopatcher.
You can open conquer.exe without play.exe

You dont need to know how to write a program for that, you just need to know how to create a shortcut and use it properly.

Im sure Wakastaka use **** antivirus program.
And antivrius deleted Conquer.exe .
Wakastaka try turn off antivirus program or uninstal.And try again download and instal patch 9005 with last Conquer.exe.You can find me on classic conquer forum ,if this tip won't work.

I personally have never made blacknull shortcuts
