Anyone knows how to bypass the play.exe?

I want to create a tool, and i would need to bypass the play.exe (like COtobo did). So after we start the tool the conquer.exe should run in few seconds.

Is this posible?

seems like maybe u could disasemble the conquer.exe and add play .exe in it so conquer opens and maybe look for the patcher.exe when u disassembl;e conquer.exe

easier said then done, also wootware dl is prob a virus because i doubt he did that in 4 minutes

Open up conquer.exe with "blacknull" argument?

ShellExecute(0, "open", PATHToExe, "blacknull", "", SW_SHOW);

or in C#

Process.Start(PATH, "blacknull");

or a easier way then all that... go to the Version.Dat file... change the number to 0

That works when you don't want to patch the client. You'd still have to run the play.exe question was about bypassing play.exe not disabling patching.

ShellExecute ( "Conquer.exe", "blacknull" , "D:\Program Files\Conquer 2.0\")

in autoit (or whereever your file dir is)

Or we could find the reference to the messagebox in conquer.exe and nop it.
