Mounts, and 130-140 Items

Heya guys, i been up the last 3 nights working my *** off on adding TQ's items including the rideable mounts into a 5165, the mounts have been extreamly hard to add but im so close to CONQUERING it lol anyway.

I have the mounts in, i converted them from MountArmors to Steeds, but my problem is, when you try to get onto the steed it says, linage must be level 4, i can get on the steeds if i put a normal steed on and switch to it, ok im on the Mount, its as stiff as stiff can be rofl, and i stand ontop of it and the char makes the movement not the steed kinda weired, any help would be appreiciated.

Ok as for the 130-140 gear, i got it all in converted the whole itemtype.dat to configure the 5165 server, works perfect accepts for, the GLOW/Effect
yet again any help would be appreiciated.

Can anyone help me with this **** its ******* me off now.

All the 130-140 TQ's Offical gear has been converted to work with my 6165 client, i been working so hard on this the last 4-5 days i still cannot get the glows to work, ive took the origional DBC files, and INI files for the equipment, is there any hidden files in TQ's folder i should know about ?, ive used all the weapon.ini and DBC files, and the effect.ini including the DBC's, ive converted all the armor mounts to Steeds, they work except we stand on the steeds rofl.

Have you bothered bringing over the giant resource files that contains all the effects?

.wdf archives as well as the actual data folders which contains the non packed files (I feel like it's data/main but not sure)

have a look at 3DEffectObj.ini and look if you got the c3 files linked correctly if not link them, than look at 3dtexture.ini for the dds files and link them too if needed.

NOTE : i noticed that the other weapons dont have the glows too, so your 3deffect.ini must of been messed i would use one of the higher patches so every weapon can have their glow.
here is a 3deffect.ini and try that.

Basicaly, i finnished converting the whole w/e patch there on now to 5165, it was quiet hard tbh, it wasent the effects folder or 3DEffectObj.ini, it was the Action3DEffect.ini belive it or not, some smart ******* working for tq decided to add 1 diget to the code, for example instead of:
999.100.130.300=f-taoist
TQ Made it:
999.1000.130.300=f-taoist

For all 300 or w/e lines lol, well thats that sorted just need to fix the fuking steeds rofl.




Now i converted ALL the mount armors to steeds and i get this lol.







@pro4never, To extracted all the dbc files from the c3.wdb, compared them made sure they dident have [Headers], ect, then i copied the whole C3, Data, Ani, folders into my client, then went threw the ini file about 10 times, it was so hard to notice something like that lol.

hmms i THINK not sure but i think that the meshes arent added correctly

The meshes must be right because there straight from TQ's clients, normal steeds work fine, its just these ones that dont.
