Non Hamachi Setup

I'm having some trouble. I'm trying to set this server up non hamachi.

I made a static IP, forwarded all the necessary ports, created a dyndns host (I have a dynamic IP..obviously), added them to my hosts file, and when I try to login, the client just crashes.

In my config I put this: GameServerIP=coserv.dyndns.tv
In my server.dat - for the IP I've tried various times: (localhost, internal IP, external IP, the dyndns host).

I do not know what else to do. When other people try to login, it crashed for them as well.

Help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

You need to get the IP of your DynDNS and write it in the server.dat.

I already made a launcher for that. It's work on 5017/5065 or compatible client. (In reference at the server.dat file.)

Are you sure it gives an IP? All I see is the host name.

If your on a shared connection, you need to forward ports properly, first test it on hamachi to be sure its your net thats ******* up before anything else, Use this to cheak your ports, 80,8080,3306,5816,9958, This is the ip you need to access your router, or , if you need advanced help add me on msn,

Oh and another thing, your server.dat and yours only needs to be 127.0.0.1 i belive.
