login screen ****** after editing
as the title says i followed a guide on here word for word on editing the Co login screen but when i change the login box (user/pass field) and move the enter/exit buttons they dont work... the login box just has "undefined" in both user and pass field and i cannot type in either of them and the enter/exit buttons wont work. So does anyone no what i would have to do to atleast make MY login box work? (im using adobe flash pro (trial) and sothink swf decomipler (trial))

You can't move the login boxes without editing conquer.exe. The GUI is defined by conquer.exe.

I've seen the buttons for the login window handled in Conquer.exe. Idk if it's handled elsewhere. You should post this in the editing section.

The login screen can be all edited by start.dat in the main/flash folder. Never had any problems editing that.

Within the original login screen there's a GUI/"code" inside of the start.dat. The GUI follows the original login screen that TQ created. To make a custom login screen you would also need to rewrite the GUI/"code" located in the start.dat. But be careful when editing the "code" if you delete things that aren't suppose to be deleted you could delete something important, like the character creating part of the start.dat file.
From what I know, never really worked with logins though.

His guide only tells you how to get it from dat -> swf -> flv and back. It doesn't teach you how to edit flash files.

His guide never showed you how to change the background. It showed you how to turn it into a flash file to that it's editable. It can be changed into anything.

[INFO] Login Screen Editing
04/23/2010 - EO PServer Hosting - 7 Replies
Maybe it's just me, But lately i've been working on bringing back the moonlight project and while trying to fix the screenshot bug i have found that the only possible thing that i have changed in any way that could of caused this problem is the login.dat so could this be caused from it?... i have yet to figure out this issue. I just am curious maybe this problem is wide and not just myne? if so it needed to be brought to the attention of the community. :P
