[REQUEST] Got a cool ideea !! NEED HELP

heya guys,

I am thinking of making a cool NPC that composes souls into your weappons.
I saw at World-Co the souls that works perfectly and i am thinking at a sql npc cuz it's easierrrrrr.

I made the id's of the souls with every P4 P6 P2 and made them like SoulItems not Items.

All i need to figure out it's a client that takes the soul from your inventory and your weappon from status and converts the soul just like your weappon from the status and adds the attack that's stabbled on the soul.
So in a few words makes the same ID as you weapon to the soul with the extra damage added to the soul.

I just need some help with this. If you want to make this plan add me on yahoo and we will release the biggest project in my oppinion.

I gotta say, nice fantasy.
First of ALL, It's Impossible for the client to do that reaction on lower patch than required.
Client is the one that receives the packet with the Data, and gives a reaction.
If you send a packet to a client that does not contain any info about that packet type, it will crash or not do any reaction.
If you want just to switch the Item with a Soul one, there's a lot work for you. Even more than the original system.
I recommend you to not waste your brain on such shi††y ideas, and wait for p4n or Arco to help you.

its impossible maybe you can make a npc that takes the Soul Item and gives you new soul weapon but it would be stupid... just use pro4never`s source

yea, i know there is something to work here but i think that will desirve it. Try the world-Co

It's going on this idea of switching the items, and i don't think it's so much to do.. i was expecting some help to make this job faster, but if you don't want to help me or don't like the idea, there's no need to visit this post.

Pretty easy, you just have to send the DragonSoul packet. And tada! (Then you have to code a system for saving, loading, adding stats, and so on and I recommend sending this packet on ItemAdd, or rather, creating a void to add(or update the item) and sending the packet for Dragon souls there.)

As long as you are using a client that HAS this feature.

He is talking about doing this on a 5165 source... which is why it's hard.

the ACTUAL system is fairly easy to do but they all fail at doing these things properly.

actually i was thinking at replacing the weapon with the same status dragon soul item, but the problem is that i don't know how to stabilize different souls to a single weapon.

Let's say wand soul for spear and so on,,,

The client does not have anything related to dragon souls or stabilization in it.

Because of that you'd have to create a new item for every single dragon soul item. You'd then need to create a fairly large database system to store all this new information and then a decently complex npc system to run through the entire process...

Basically it's more work than it's worth.
