For those of you, who werent there when everything started...
A small history of Co2 Private Servers, Source Codes and Coding.
Hope you will enjoy this, and feel free to contact me to add or correct information.
UCCO
- It was the first private server ever.
- Launched 2005 or something.
- Coded in C#
- Partially complete server -> still much dun work
- SocketSystem: XYNETSHIT
- Patch 4343
- Database: PgSQL
(Undercover Conquer Online - members einhornchen, ~Unknown~, Brandon
)
CoEmu Foundation by Andy
- Much bugfixes
- Much New skills added
- Possible date: 2005-2006

Ranny and Korvacs continued their work and added much features
KylinCo Foundation by Lateralus
- Coded by Lostsolder05
- Failed after Lostsolder05 quit

- First server which got taos working - i liked this server much (was the first one i played)

- Second p server i played i loved it soo fucking hard!
- nearly everything worked
- One of the most stable servers i´ve ever seen bax in da days

- Database: ODBC, PGSQL Used coz MySQL System was buggy.
- Database: Source is .LUA Driven. So most parts are "FlatFile"
- UPDATE !!
- Server stablized, uses less ram.

UPDATE Pwnquer was continued by Trinity Gaming (Ocualris, Impulse) but they shut it down again

- Re-added the "Selector" bug and sorted it out to make it a Feature (more infos below)
- Converted back from MySQL to pgSQL coz i havent had a Database backup from Co2.1
- PvP now better working - still no pkp

Hello i was working on the old,old,very old, so damn mother f***ing old UCCO Source,KylinCo,XeroCO,CoEmu,Co2.1 sources all on patch 4531 and sorted out the Client Close, well atleast i made it happen less times...
