That's the only thing that does you need Visual Studio, because you need some C++ libraries right?

If you took other public Encryptions for blowfish, would it work without needing Visual Studio installed then or there is other things used from Visual Studio?

Just wondering, so it's easier to have a source portable between peoples.

No, you just need the Microsoft.VC90.DebugCRT.manifest file.
And I know that just that works cause I don't have VS2008 installed which included that file but that file is non-redistributable.
