I hate these kind of topics. Oh and please don't bump this anymore, it's old.

One night i was botting at snakemen for 10~12 hours, it got me 2 dbs, +1 earrings,+1 necky, elite coro, 4 mets,Super 1s Hammer & 2 +1 Warrior armors.

The following nights i started the bot at the same time, but the result was just ****.
(Yay...like 2 mets and a +1 warrior helm each night...).

Its all about luck.

I believe that when a character is created, an amount of luck is present.

I am hunting at SlowApes, on a 103 non-reborn archer.

Second Thing:

I hunted in the morning getting 5k kills (Server time morning) and got one met and a +1 backsword
I then went back at the servers night time, this time i killed 3.5k and got 11 mets, elite warrior armour, elite 1 soc wand and a DB.
The same happened the day after, in the morning i got 2k kills, and got NOTHING.
I went back at night, killed 500 before i went to bed and got a super tao robe..

I then tried it without my trojan there and got nothing (Both night and day)
I tried it at snakemen and got nothing again..

I hope this helps you a little, im going to try it again tonight, and ill post exactly what i get.

Class thing maybe. Timezone means nothing. The Reason you are getting more late at night is because there are less people online and therefore less chance of someone else killing a monster and getting a good item.

well i've been reading this post since the beguining and there goes all my thoghts. they can be stupid and contraditory but no 1 is perfect

really i agree with that i got 5 DBs until today and... only 1 of then was when i was "fast killing" with my archer the outher 4 was with single hits and not scarter or outher tecniques that hit multiple targuets maybe the time and the skill hiting multiple targuets and of course some luck can be important factors

ya good theory but... the servers dont do maintenamce at the end of each day so i dont believe its possible at the end of the day... maybe before maitnance ?

hum... maybe. trully i dont believe in that.
Of course that if thats true it should be good cus the chars with crap equipment are the ones that need more good drops but HEY any 1 can have crap equipment

have you thinked of how many diferent chars exist in each server ? and btw i think that the "presect luck" changing when you mine/hunt in the same place its impossible to exist cus there are tons of players at the time and i dont believe a computer ( for more powerfull it can be ) can manage tons of chars killing, given them drops, making a randon alguritm to lvl the mets and DBs used, open the socks with another algoritm junping with all the hunters and changing the VPs value of a char can make that atribute being changed for those tons of players at the same time plus all the calculatoins it needs to make the atack values of each weapon but well its just a thought mine

and just to finish the post sry for my bad english

Yesterday i was hunting at Hugesnakes at night in server time. I got 16 mets.
Then today i was hunting there too and i got 4 mets in 2 hunting period.
So ill see what will happent tomorrow

yea I deffinitely agree that the less people in your server playing the more chances that you will get something good. It just make logical sence that way because if server randomly send out packets for met,db,+1, and quality stuff then the less player killing monster and making them drop items will allow you to have more chance of receiving one of the packets that hold the good stuff. I also heard somewhere (I think from mr.teenie) that conquer give a player more luck as he/she stay online longer of course that mean so dcing, so like a player who have stay online for 24 hours straight would have a better chance at good drops than someone who just logged on. This makes sense to me because it's like the 2rb lucky time due to the time/luck storing factor because I think that lucky time just speed up the rate that a player's luck is being stored like instead of staying online for 5 hours, the luckytime person on have to store 10 minutes of luckytime (this is of course a total random guess not saying that these are facts in anywayz). So now like i would log my hunter on since friday server maintenance and keep him online until like sunday afternoon and then hunt my **** off XD.
