Joe, The one machine I'm having the problem on is XP and I tried a fresh CO2M8 folder (with no settings) and no clients running and I still get the access error.

Still getting the same error with the new test version. Windows XP service pack 3. I have included a screen print. I am very open to any other suggestions since I love this program.

Here is another test version of co2m8 for those who get errors when they start the program.
I will just have to keep making adjustment to the encapsulation until it works.

Joe, Really strange now. When it first starts, it crashes and a Windows message comes up that the application must close, then 3-4 seconds later, the CO2M8 window opens and shows the client list. Unfortunately, clicking on Send Error or Don't Send closes CO2M8. I'm using XP Pro SP3 on that machine, but have another XP Pro SP3 machine that 1.54 works on (gremlins I guess).

We are getting closer. It works until you try to close the Windows error message. If you click on the error report you get a txt file as follows:

Well Ive come to the conclusion that the new encapsulation system just doesn't like some windows setups,
so what I'm going to do is release versions of co2m8 in both encapsulation formats.

The problem with the old format is that some virus detectors mark it as suspect.
But I guess if you can't get the new one working you would just have to risk the old one or not run the program at all.

Here is the final test, this is in the old format and I just want to confirm that it still works for those who were having problems.

Version 1.55 of CO2m8 is now available for game client 5066 & 5067

Everything except the DMA bases functions(HP/MP/Mining) is working, I will do those soon as I can.

Note I have provided v1.55 with two different encapsulation systems, CO2m8_155a.rar should work for most people, but if it crashes with an error when you run it you can try CO2m8_155b.rar, however be aware that this version may give false positive to having a virus with some detectors.

joek, noticed some bugs with the new release. level is shown incorrectly and the exp and level timer are not showing at all. The level shows that my lvl 117 fire tao is now level 157.

edit: I changed the global table to the one Jalan_Jalan made and its all showing correctly now.

Version 1.56 of CO2m8 is now available for game client 5066 & 5067

Everything works now including the DMA bases functions(HP/MP/Mining)
Fixed the character level problem 1.55 had.
Also added a disconnect all clients function by right clicking on the D button.

Note I have provided v1.56 with two different encapsulation systems, CO2m8_156a.rar should work for most people, but if it crashes with an error when you run it you can try CO2m8_156b.rar, however be aware that this version may give false positivea to having a virus with some detectors.
