Itemtype.dat editor v2 -beta | at10ti0n © 2006

It's my first c# 2005 app. in order to run it u need net framework 2.0 and make sure that "monster.exe" and "itemtype.dat" files are located in the same folder as "itemtype.dat editor v2.exe" file!

this is not a finished version, so it has some bugs
What it does:
- allows u to view/edit ur item's name, tradeable state, range and other stuff

How it works:
- 1. copy itemtype.dat from co2/ini to which folder itemtype.dat editor is located
- 2. open the itemtype.dat file in itemtype.dat editor
- 3. make your changes of one item at a time, then press edit selected item
- 4. copy itemtype.dat from the folder where itemtype.dat editor is located to your co2/ini folder
- 5. play!

To do's:
- make fewer file operations, fewer encypting/decrypting..
- find and implement other entries from the decrypted file as those from itemtype editor by unknowone.
- command tokens batch editing.

updates:
- added batch edit for items and gems, improved search
- REPLOADED FILE, NO new improvements. I am busy right now with some exams, but after that i will get back on developing this. Thanks for your patience.

the other textboxes u have there are not yet implemented... i will do that tomorrow or so...





i will update it as soon as i find (or you find ..) the meaning of other entries.

one thing tho, the net framework 2.0.50727 needs an activation crack, now ive looked for one but cant find it, wanna lend a bit o help with that?

um, thats not the one it needs, it need ver 2.0.50727 not 2.0

Also so I can change items names? such as "snake club" I can chnage it to "Snakeskin Club" ?

hmm sorry bout that, maybe i sneezed when i was reading and missed that. i got a terrible cold and havent been staying in top Rorrim form -.- Seems too much of a trouble to me, and I just used it for command tokens cause of cobo, which no longer works :P But since im not hunting or anything like that I can wait on the next release. Maybe you need to work on your own decoder eventually and mention that you need the 2.0 .net framework (which will require a reboot) in your first post.

From the looks of the snap its very nice and shows promise.

A: Yes it does work with 4333.

B: You can change item names ^^

C: Tradable state: There are some items in the game which cannot be traded (or dropped without disappearing).

For instance, the Christmas Gift Stockings.

With this edit, you can transfer those no-trade items between characters using the market. It was very useful during last years christmas quest, where XP pots were being given as gifts, one per character, no trading... but TQ caught on fast.

very nice but the search function is buggy, making the program quit responding unless you know the exact prase, I put in command and the progam hung, perhaps you need to include boolene (mispelled, hope you get the idea) phrase and stuff. its an interesting enough program I'll track the topic for a while and check with the developments.

You really need to conentrate on batch edit, command tokens and gems, just my personal opinion
