hi joek, so far so good, but i noticed that it wont let me chose Verdana 8 as the font, its stuck on 10 ands thats way too big. Verdana is my favorite font, and rather large for a font but it looks nice and very readable. Thought id let you know this little bug.

I'll keep testing it for more as I go along

nope, *tries it* huh, weird, when i tried to change it again, in order to get the font name at least, it accepted the change. I know i installed it right, you know how I move the files but the shortcut to a version folder. (probably should delete them since CO changed, huh)

The only change I did between the day I posted that and tonight is upgrade from xp to xp pro. Strange

Yeah fonts do strange things in windows sometimes and swap, drives the font functions through api so that can add to the confusion.
Sometimes just using the font and size in another program will make it available in that font list my program produces, a restart of swap is required when you do that.

how come it only makes the a folder named "Data"

i got vb6 previously installed btw.. or do i need to download some other runtime files?

Unfortunately this problem has been around in both the hud and the swap projects from the start.
Ive yet to find a machine that does it to me(tested on many) so I haven't fixed it at this point.

It shouldn't be vb runtimes or components, it could be fonts I suppose, do you have one call MS Serif in your system (some progs(eg wordpad) call it Microsoft Sans Serif)

yes i have that font..maybe one of these might help:

is it possible that the problem is on directory? because i have it on a different folder..

also i didnt actually installed the game correctly, i mean i just copied the entire game folder from my friend, burn it into a cd and then copy it to mine..

and my computer is kinda corrupted (according to memtest)...either my memory or the motherboard itself...

i dont know if these things wil help u or not but i hope it does coz im excited to try out your work

hmm it suddenly stopped working on me joek, just makes the data folder, I tried deleting the others and stuff, sure you checked any program registry and things like that? maybe you accidently made it trial out. I started farming again so i kinda need the swap for easy task switching

Edit, i even tried to bring out the orginal download as well and it still just makes the folder. I now have xp pro but shouldnt have anything to do with it
