I am still hoping someone can shed some light on my problem.
Windows XP. SP 2.
I start tools, it loads CO. I get to the CO login screen. I wait 30 seconds or so, and I get the error message "Could not find the Conquer online 2 window" I get the option to retry or cancel. If I press retry, same thing happens, error message pops up followed by window to retry or cancel option.
If I input all my login info to the CO window after tools launches CO, I log in, but I get that same error.
That error appears, regardless of my loging in or not at the CO login screen.
So that said, tools will launch the CO login screen, I don't even press a key on my keyboard, or try to input my login info and I get that error without pushing anything. (Make sense) Seems to me like it can't detect CO when it is launched.
I did re-download the tools to see if that made any difference, same problem.
This error started after I updated the game for easter crap. Tools been working fine before that update.
I am able to log in without the tools without any problems.
Is that enough info? anything missing? [/b][/quote]
Ok all I got it working again.
Tools do work.
It was an edit I made to the StrRes.ini file.
I just replaced it with the backup.
Now tools loads when I am at the login screen.
Others that have this problem, think of the last thing you modified manually, or file that you replaced. Hopefully you know exactly what you did, and/or backed up the original file. If not, re-install and start over.
Hope this helps other with similar problem.
