I try it but when i drop the reference its disappear ... so i cant pick it up with my other high lvl char .... give me advice i w8 u

There is no advice. TQ patched this "bug" and now this trick isn't working and never will.  . I know it is sad

Easiest way to 2 soc tailsmans is to use the free items!!!!
And it does work still till this day
U just gotta know how!!!!

A friend on my server had patch 92 and he was able to soc free items. I dunno if that's the reason but that's the patch he told me he had with his version.dat.

I read an earlier post about mining up gems to get refined bags, for those who own an archer here is a more creative way. Simply get yourself an itemtype.dat replacement to show quality items on the ground, goto bird island, start killing the crap out of birds or hawks, pick up every refined and put it in the talisman. May take a little while, but you may luck out and find a super to boost the progress by 1000. All good things come in time.

Seems like there have been some reports of TQ confiscating people talismans that where socket with free items.
Is that true or is just some lame guy that doesnt have anything better to do but mess with us or was probably hacked, and since TQ changed the bonus quests they might have added a way to detect if a free item was used. Did anyone used free items since the changes? and keept their talismans?
BTW TQ screwed the bonus equipment quest and you can do them again even if you had done...

It's not more than a normal multiclient but it allows u to put free itmes in the heaven fan and star tower's sockets
