Free Socketing Talisman Guide
I read an earlier post about mining up gems to get refined bags, for those who own an archer here is a more creative way. Simply get yourself an itemtype.dat replacement to show quality items on the ground, goto bird island, start killing the **** out of birds or hawks, pick up every refined and put it in the talisman. May take a little while, but you may luck out and find a super to boost the progress by 1000. All good things come in time.

item type was patched not that long ago, u cannot see armors / of any kind, rings, etc only weapons..

Yes! Thank you omg yes! this is an amazing exploit! hehe tq are so dumb they never found this exploit. i mean. who would have thought to get the stuff from monsters? wow tq might fix this exploit soon.

Another Tips :
NPCs: Alchemist (Phoenix Castle 179,225).
Rewards: A Refined Ambergris Bag
Special: You need to go mining to gather the ore needed in this quest.
STEPS
1: Armed with a pickaxe (available form the Twin City shopkeeper), you must first enter a mine.
2: Dig in the mines for ore, until you have accumulated several lumps of high quality gold ore. Then take these to the alchemist.
