Removing TQ's "antivirus"

Anyway, as you may all know, TQ has implemented their own "antivirus". No one has the source code to it, so who knows what kind of "scanning" it does. For all you know, it could be scanning your computer for "interesting" files containing private information and then sending it back to TQ's headquarters.

Let's remove it!

1. Open your Conquer 2.0 folder
2. Delete the zftqat folder.
3. Open ini\StartGame.ini
4. Change it so it looks like this

FileName=

5. Restart CO and find that the antivirus is gone! hoorah

It's useful. I was truely afraid of this thing. "Scanning your Account for trojans" ??? Like wtf? Why are THEY scanning my Account/Computer? It sounds bad. Well, anyways, thanks for help.

thanks a lot...but why did they created this antivirus or wtf it is.I think they are tring to find any hack programs on the computer,then banning you if they are finding

Lolz, then they will be stupid. All the hacks don't consist trojans . Most of the hacks are trojans/virus free.

The client dont complain at any time about this?

I wonder why the antivirus try to contact the internet (and what does it send/get from TQ?)

Also.....more importently, can TQ match logged accounts IPs with the ANTItrojan IPs from the other side (and that way see theres a few running clients on a IP not using the antitrojanthing)?

I don't trust that AntiVirus stuff TQ Implemented.
I use Avast Antivirus, and as soon as I installed the new patch my Av had little pop ups with some IP thats trying gain Access to my Pc - Not sure what or what It said, but Once I took the Antivirus out it stopped.

ill try make it clearer.

1. You log a client (TQ gets your IP at contact)
2. The new antitrojanscanner contact internet (TQ check the IP)
3. They could check the IPs on all running clients (or new logged clients), then check if theres a "antivirus" running on the same IP, if answer is no you somehow changed or deleted the virusscanner.

My question was if this would be a posible danger?
