Running now. This would be really cool if it works and if it does +k and Thanks to you . Oh and when you say restart the client - Does that mean the client needs to be running while this is running? Because I don't have Conquer open right now... Hopefully it doesn't matter.


EDIT:: Tested with unique and works perfect. I'm assuming it works with everything else . Great job +k and thanks to you

This would be great if it worked with +n items and Gems. Since I started using this I found 4 ref, 1 uni, and 2 gems (unrelated).

so if someone were to find the ID numbers for the gems, would u be willing to incorporate them into the program?

well, i might be just completely wrong here, but i used unknownone's itemtype.dat editor to get the ID #s for the gems.

I am fairly sure that each ending in "1" is normal, "2" refined, and "3" super.

and in that case youd really only need to change the ani files for the normal ones, as those are the only ones u can find from mobs...

anyways, hope that is of some help.

i am not going to add a loop search command just for 7 items
since u have the ID of it, open the ANI and edit yourself

None of those even exist in mine... I was gonna replace them with the normal paw from the old Editor but I guess i will have to keep looking. Nice try though.

mkay, apparently i didn't understand the implications of trying to be helpful...
i was simply giving you the item IDs so that you would be able to find a way to incorporate them into your program. i thought that by doing that, you would be improving your program, and at the same time satisfying the requests of several other members of the community.

yes, i COULD try do it by myself and not tell anyone about it, but that wouldn't be helpful to everyone else that had requested the same thing.

i wasn't trying to get you to completely remake your program for 'me', specifically, i was just trying to help you help everyone else, and I'm sorry that you feel it is a useless addition.

hey sorry about that, i looked in the MapItemIcon file in the ani folder, and yea, you are right. what i gave was the actual item ID, and we are trying to change the image. so, with that said, open the MapItemIcon file in the ani folder with notepad and do ctrl-f to search for the numbers:

data/MapItemIcon/700000.dds (phoenix)
data/MapItemIcon/700010.dds (dragon)
data/MapItemIcon/700020.dds (fury)
data/MapItemIcon/700030.dds (rainbow)
data/MapItemIcon/700040.dds (kylin)
data/MapItemIcon/700050.dds (violet)
data/MapItemIcon/700060.dds (moon)

and as for tortoise gem, i dont have a clue >.<
(can they drop anyways though?)

replace each of the above numbers with your own dds file. (if u use the one i uploaded, its called testg)

ill upload the pink paw i modified here:



save the file into your ...data/MapItemIcon folder.

Hey, I joined the forums a week or so ago and saw you had some useful stuff, however the thing that caught my eye was this: 'ANI Quality Editor'. I used this for a day or two and loved it, however I thought it would be better if it showed different images for refined, unique, elite and super, as apposed to just the one paw. So here is my edited version, all credit goes to evanxxxm for his original version. Tell me if you think anything needs to be improved, thanks.
