DMA with Xim/Controller assistance/advice.

I know most KMBox setups are meant for mouse and keyboard output while you cheat, but here is my situation.

Looking into DMA for my pc sessions.
I play on PC/Xbox using a Xim Matrix.
I aim and move with Keyboard and Mouse, and the matrix emulates it out to controller. ( i get aim assist this way, and also I've been using xim since XIM 3, so I am VERY use to the way it moves and feels. I have no interest in going full controller or full MnK for this reason).

I have only seen videos of people using DMA where it outputs as a controller, but they are using a CONTROLLER in their hands. Also, you have to change bindings and stuff? Just need a debrief.

What would the setup be, to not change the way I play? I want it to feel the same, just a little bit of aiming help. Can I plug the KMBOX into my xim matrix like i would my mouse? Then xim will process the KMBOX input and output it as controller like usual? Just thinking about it, in my mind there's no way it seems it will feel natural.

I keep saying KMBOX, but I will probably go MAKCU, just from what im reading. If it changes something, let me know.

Which provider are you with?

I use Blurred; they have configurations and instructions.

You plug the Kmbox's USB port into your Xim Matrix instead of your PC. This counts as a mouse.

I'm in the initial investigating phase, have the items in my cart etc, just doing research beforehand. I was thinking blurred as well.
