SHADOWBAN BOOSTING BO6

Hey everyone,

I've been shadow banned by Activision for boosting, and I'm under investigation.

I did join a bot lobby to grind for Camos

What will the out come be with activison now ? Has someone been through this process and what was your outcome ?

What’s the typical punishment for a first offense?

Are you shadow banned or banned for boosting? They are two different ban messages. If you're shadow banned then you just got reported or triggered something server-sided (maybe headshot % detection).

An actual boosting ban will prevent you from even playing in shadow ban lobbies, you will have a temporary ban on the website too.

I am just Shadow Banned at the moment for Boosting, the reason I know its for boosting is because I put a support ticket in and they said:

''After a thorough investigation with your account. We can confirm that your account has an active enforcement. For more information, please review the “Boosting” section in the Call of Duty Security & Enforcement policy''

It will probably clear up then in a week just like any other shadow ban. I guess they don't temporarily ban you anymore and just shadow ban you for this offense.

For me it lasted a week

just get on xbox gp and rage in lobbies and have fun till your main is unshadowed lol

Finally got unshadow banned but can’t play ranked it saids this when I try and click play.

I think they also ban you from ranked now once you get a shadow ban, in a Discord I'm in, almost anyone who gets shadow banned also gets a rank lock now too! but I'm not sure what the criteria for that is. Since some people don't get a rank ban even though they rage hack and get shadow banned.

I can't really suggest anything helpful to you as I've not had any issues with bans so far in BO6

Are you still suspended from ranked? Maybe you could try putting up a support ticket again

I got a temp ban that lasted for 5 days. It was the same thing as a shadow ban. But I was in a few bot lobbies in a row and probably got like 200 headshots with a few deaths and got kicked mid game (a kick mid game is a shadow by the way). My account is fine though. Tbh was kinda worried about it because my account was shadowed twice before so I was thinking that I was going to catch a perm ban, but didn’t.
