KmBox Net - Not working correctly

Hello,

I just setup my KMbox Net and it seems to work fine so far.
Sadly it does not recognize my additional mouse buttons. Only right click, left click & Scroll button is working. I cant find a solution by googeling.

Is that a known limitation? Anybody got a fix?

I already installed the latest FW.

yes, it sounds like you have plugged the mouse directly into the kmbox net. you will not find functionality of any buttons or detection of your mouse to its software where keys are remapped using it. if your mouse stores its functionality on onboard memory though, you'd be good.

if you're going to keep using kmbox, i'd recommend going with plugging your mouse directly into your main PC and then the kmbox as well into it. the aiming and all will still work fine.

this is however a detection vector, as you effectively have two mice and double inputs but the kmbox in itself has been getting hit with detections left and right.

True, not at this time. I was just being transparent as people will use their DMA for multiple titles. So it's better not to build the habit at the start. I also imagine it's not very difficult (especially if you look into all Ekknod spoke of) to quickly catch stuff like that, should COD ever even make progress with externals and flip their focus to DMA.
