unlink steam before playing with cheats

Hi,
I'm new around here, i'm pondering to buy cheats but i don't want to risk a ban showing in my steam account, my ideia is to unlink steam from activision account before start playing with cheats and play the game on battle net.
Does anyone knows if by somehow i get banned is my steam account affected even after the unlink?

I think you'll be fine. I was shadowbanned on my main and unlinked my steam, got permaed and linked steam to new account ive been playing legit on, been fine since. Note if you get PERMAED you can't unlink accounts

you can, just have to sign into your account and contact support that you want to perm delete your activision acc. soon after you fill out the forum all of your accs can be re linked to a new account

this wont work i tested because when the baned activision account is deleted and he links the same steam/BNET or console account to new activision account it will instantly get ban again.

Ok, thanks, as I thought, as long as the unlink happens before any shadow or perm ban i think I’ll be fine.

or you could just make a Steam account exclusively for cod and not risk your main
