What causes or triggers an SMS reverification?

I got one for MW19 despite owning the full game but was not shadowbanned AND I was allowed to load, queue and play Warzone 2 while I waited to reverify.

So it would seem my account wasn't "flagged" because why would they let me play Warzone 2 if they suspected me of funny business in MW19?

From personal experience, it's usually caused by X amount of reports or frequent changes in your HWID. So if you use a spoofer, use one hwid profile per account.

I don't use a spoofer or spoof at all since I am not HWID banned so I guess I must've gotten quite a few reports - although I'm not sure how since no one even called me out or got mad at me.

Yeah it will most likely be manual reporting. COD is so salty and people just report everyone because they think they are hacking. People won’t really called you out now it’s just spam report your cheating because they are sad gimps
