If a new trace and/or hwid piece gets added to the hwid packet you will capitulate as well. You're not safer than anyone else. In fact you're weaker, because there's only x amount of things that can be permanently spoofed and they already pull multiple things that you cannot cover. Fortunately for you they didn't flip the ban switch on these parts yet, but when they do, youre gone with no way to recover as your spoofer relies on third-party tools to get the job done.
Pros:
- Only needed to do once, until they add something new
- Does not trigger mapping and/or driver traces that could lead to ban.
- Relatively safe when it's done.
- Can be done for free.
Cons:
- Cannot spoof all hardware (gpu, monitor, arp, disk (needs raid))
- Needs to reinstall windows
- Needs to reinstall the game
- Cannot spoof several of the over 20 registry entries pulled by cod because they're reverted on reboot.
- Takes a long time to setup
- Requires two identical disks to set up raid(because the spoofer cannot perm spoof your disks)
- Requires you to use integrated network card and cable as there's no tools for most of the third party adapters.
- Risk of bricking hardware unless it's done correctly.
