What is overlay?

I don't understand the connection to hacks. Is "Nvidia Overlay" necessary if you want to use cheats in the game? How do Oberlays work?

It is only required for some cheats. Usually required by cheats where the developer is incompitent and doesn't know how to reverse engineer and make a proper overlay solution.

I suggest not buying ANY cheat that requires you to have Nvidia Overlay enabled.

No, it makes almost zero difference. Any cheat using this is most likely detected anyways due to their sheer incompetence.

Just install NVIDIA GeForce Experience.
