CW to MW Rank System

Has anyone come across a bug where you get to Max Prestige on Cold War then merge onto Modern Warfare/Warzone and it says you're level 1000 or 1055 but in-game shows you as Level 1?
Just trying to see if this is only me or if anyone else has come across this

Yea, it’s common.

It’s because they use two different systems to calculate how XP is distributed. Cold War locks in seasonal XP whereas Warzone uses continued XP (ignores Cold War’s seasonal lock).

I imagine they’ll eventually fix it, or they may not and allow for XP runoff once seasonal prestige’s are entirely unlocked and not limited to 4-5 per season.

That's a bummer then, because getting to 1k would look cool in Warzone but now it appears like you should only get up to 900ish and then grind the rank yourself.
