try this.....right click on launcher....proprieties..compatibility...run for windows sp 3....if not work try all the compatibilitys .....netframework you need at least 3.5 as i remeber...better get the last version

maybe the reason why your cabal wont appear, because u used mcl pathcer on maps of EC, btw mcl patcher works b4 EC patch it... maybe you nid to have a fresh(original) copy of the map files...

PS: i say this cause it happens to me ....
