Global topic is endless, as everyone has a different opinions about it and would argue day and night to defend it. The buffs and etc - however server wants - they make it.
Xtremetop is the one of the worst places to find a decent cabal server, as there is nearly same top 5 servers for the past 2-3 years, and that's clearly not from voting.
The rest is simple: Want to get profit - make high rates, add armors/weapons/accessories into donation, spend a bit on advertisement, add all possible content you can find, but edit some items so it would be super insane stats and long range chars would have a massive advantage and you are done.
The cabal you mentioned will not stay long for a simple fact - it's a money seeking inexperienced people team - which will lead to doom.

Tartarus is a simple, slowly update, low rate server ( I call it low rate due to sole base exp rate ) which is a non-profit server and open to everyone 24/7 never-ending learning place for me and a pace for patient players.
whoever likes it, they will join, whoever not - they can skip this thread together with a whole server. There is loads of cool and fun servers to play anyway, everyone has their own preferences.

Yeah sure global topic is endless, they added now good stuff and change finally something on the concept but years to late.
Xtremetop was just a example, ofc the ranks there are bought and not from vote. But still this servers are high populated since years, even with paytowin concepts. I can tell you simply why, ppl wanna have just some fun if they come online into a game, not come from work and work in a game again. (Ofc i love to grind too and wanna farm for my stuff. Up to decent point, than its just exhausting and annoying and the fun ends.)
Some contents on your server are really great, also on the past version there was great contents with selfmade raid bosses.
But the fact that it was that kinda low rate, that it makes for me no fun anymore and you got all times this selfmade buffs, instead of trying to do buffs based on ep10-17, as you wrote in your own description, to have ep10-17 features, always put me off to play your server. Sadly

Btw: The server looks uncompleted, lvl 150 is max? no stuff on npc and so on. Not really cool after the server was so long closed.

This version of tartarus is completely different from previous due to new files and new approach and ideology. The goal is to basically go from the bottom to the top, adding the newest content, whatever might be possible, but still keep it within ep8 limits, but that's a bit unreal.
The server idea is to go through stages, more and more content unlocked. There is a lot of things missing together with the info itself, but someday it will be posted in here too.
To be sincerely honest, right now it is quite hard to play and loads and loads and loads of grinding, items such as aqua 2x slots of fatal has a massive worth in the server. The drops are pretty low, meaning that you will not be able to drop best items in 1-5 dungeon runs.
To put it all into one, as I've said before and you said it in your post: it's not the server that is for everyone and sadly, players without patience doesn't stay long either.
In any case, server has its own player base, as small as it is, it's still a bunch of crazy and friendly people who don't hesitate to help out. Within a decent requests haha

Dunno if your guys time is worth to keep the server alive, pay host and everything just to make 10 ppl happy which like that concept.
But if this is your goal and ideology what your looking for, keep it up.

I can just say for me, i tried it and its nothing for me. I dont have that time to farm the whole day and i miss to much stuff and dislike this selfmade buffs (at the first look pretty hard class unbalance, fs got crazy hardcore boosts, while wa got near nothing, fb is insane while getting tons of attack, more rate and a ****** buff too and fa got a 150 attack/280 def buff on top of his already op status)

But enough from my point of view, goodluck with your server.

I would rather say no update than slow update. Coz there were 0 updates in almost 3 weeks

Check discord, hes always posting changes there, since there were a few, but yea its very slow updating, just like the owner said, cuz hes aiming for best experience in cabal

Just do it like me, mate & I farmed like crazy, wasnt lucky, so we take a break and come back when there are a few changes and higher updates.

If I could make a wish, I'd love to have old tartarus back <3

This epvp is really full of retards. 3 weeks no update? You guys really got no brain. He most likely got RL as well and JOB where he has to get money to keep that server alive since none want to help just like that. 3 weeks is nothing and i 3 weeks you cannot make any major changes. If you are that smart why dont u make update for him and just send him files so he will put it on live. How the hell you can be such an noob and dont use your brain before you judge someone.

+1000 Ppl in private section can't stand 1-2 months of normal playing. The best for them would be to have update every 3 days

Its not point to make updates every 3 days and release them with bugs then you spend more time fixing database and things that got ruined. And another problem is that EP 8 files are limited so basically once u run out of update which will be soon there is nothing left then doomsday and ppl will flame you that they got bored already but on other hand you won't be able to offer them anything back anymore. And who is problem then? Players who did push you to run updates so often same as owner that did listen to that nonsense idea.

Some of you guys take this here to ridiculous seriously. Sorry but to wonder that guys start to complain if a half completed server opens and in the first 3 weeks no updates comes, thats totally normal. There are tons of other privat server out there and there was in the past tons of privat server what this guys played, so you have to attract them with something special to play your server. ( a near clean ep8 server with selfmade buffs files from 10 other server in past and currently and empty npc attract ofc not)

@ insulting player just coz they share their opinion and their mind, is pretty adult.

Dunno where you guys got this with every 3 days should must come a update, ppl are happy if every few weeks comes some little updates, which are tested ofc. If some owner think always they have to do a half game change in 1 update, is ofc not our problem. If the server would before start has the main updates how it should be, than ppl would not start to pushing you after few days to do some updates.
Btw no one forced you guys to open a privat server, if you doesnt have enough time or to busy in reallife or what ever, why you chosen to open than one?
If i have no time for a hobby or a second business, i dont start one, its pretty simple.
So stop searching the fault by other ppl, if you guys are starting such a project without having time for such thing, or let you forcing by some ppl which are impatient or play to much and get fast bored, its simple your own fault.
