Hey guys, I am back, Elder is back. Who remembers CAOR server?

Just like the title says, i am back. Back in the Cabal scene anyways. I've been wanting to do this for a while now but the timing wasn't right.

I knew the timing is right when i reconnected with x30 , the friend which whom i started CAOR ( cabal Online romania - ) and currently now runs cabal.ws

I wonder how many of you still remember CAOR, being one of the first servers of cabal out there.

I miss Cabal, almost 10 years have passed since i started playing and 8 years since we opened CAOR ... jeez i feel old already. So i realised i have no server to play, poor management, low population. Most of my friends miss Cabal as well, but we can't seem to find the right place to feel the Nostalgia, the game we actually miss. This happens for most of the players, after a certain age and time, and for the most games out there (check the wow scene, hah, talking about nostalgia).

Anyways, me and x30 want to BRING BACK CAOR. For the old timers, for those that want the game as they first knew it.

I am making this post to see what the community thinks, wants and if by any chance, feel the same way i do.

OOOOO, I remember the server, but out of curiosity, why x30 does and MuP does not upgrade / deliver the promised update for cabal.ws and keep the server half-dead, while planning to bring back CAOR?

Wouldn't that kind of fate get to CAOR if one server players got turned down with the upgrades? I mean there was a clear announcement from x30 that he's in Silkroad and it's a bit of a disappointment that there was amazing features and etc from his side, but they never seen a day light. Asking this, coz I've used to play in cabal.ws long time ago, way before deciding to open my own server and this news that you will bring back CAOR with x30, who mentioned about big cabal.ws update and vanished for a longer period than has been announced..

Well, fingers crossed whatever has been told will be delivered. Regards.

Yeah, CAOR would be the promised cabal.ws update as well i guess. Not the same server but would include the updates x30 have been working on.

it's been some time, i agree, but it ain't like i'm not learning anything <3 why do ya think we've come back to cabal and opened up the old ws aaaand BUILT A PROXY ? just cuz it's fun, right ? ofc, but also wrong it's cuz we wanna come back, with smthing interesting, and that can only happen if i know more code already have an ui system built with d3d hook for sro that i'm planning to transfer to cabal back then, on the caor time, i was a mere moder, the only thing that i did really was install the files, mod them with notepad or some other text editor and also coded a launcher <3 the web we used, if i remember right, was cabaltoolz by john_d so yeah, simple stuff now i'm more into the coding part, and wanna code some tools to do the old modding stuff that i used to do by hand in a text editor it's the same with sro, i've worked a lot on tools to edit the game, not on edits themselves cuz if ya have the toolz ya have the power

It won't have the old database, it'll be - fresh start, new, updated.

Are you kidding me???Caor was my first ever server and my first ever mmorpg game played was there,it always held a special place in my hearth and gladly say that i loved that game,i was playing on helios(for hardcore mfs),my first set bought with gold(great system) was sig metal mana regen for WA )) so man....that would be so awesome you 2 together,i remember the old days,trans just came out,it was awesome..in mf the 2 bosses were the owners,awesome times,glad to hear from you again!! +2000 to this

Last time i spoke to you, you complained that x30 was a drug addict and stole all the donations as to why you quit lol.. Those were ages ago on skype, before your goplay servers.

I see you guys have made up since then, i just hope if a joint project opens between the 2 of you again that it's not destroyed due to pettiness.

Yeah well, we had our disputes, so i said alot of things even if most of them weren't true, perhaps. But that was almost 10 years ago... You can imagine thats in the past.
