Close all of the programs your running in the background. Is the cabalmain process active in the task manager though you cant see the game ?

i've got the same problem like pakemo34.... and yes... taskmanager shows the cabalmain.exe but i can`t see the game

so my cabal also wont start it does show up in the task manager and xtrap is working the host file is edited with the text from the forum and no other programms are running.

i tried reinstalling the game but also nothing i tried on an another computer and there it works fine -.- but my girlfriend and I want to play together XD

im using avast anti vir and the game is on the exception list + the firewall is off

This methods could fix it.
1. Be sure to have your graphic card driver installed thats very important.
2. Try to use the compatibility mode for the cabalmain and launcher (right click and then Properties then at compatibility tab there you enable windows XP SP 3)
3. Install directx9, cause the game use it, even if you have directx11 already.

At peak times we have around 200 people online.

i Mostly put the news in the launcher and forget about the website xD

Maybe I play an other server or client, on the reborn server there are mostly 50 players online but not more in ch4 in bi.
Give us some true informations and don't lie...

thx it works now i dont know what did the trick because i did everything and then tried to start it.

and my other question is: is there a problem if we(girlfriend and I) play with my laptop and computer together or can we get a ban for this?
