Most helpful is a fully working brain.exe (no trial or limited shareware versions) and some working tools like olly, ce/mhs, programming skills, asm, autoit for scripting and a few friends here at epvp. And of course time, patience and curiosity.
Alz farming is something very special. It's like a personal holy grale. Everyone has their own tricks.
If you combine some nice hacks and use quest exploits you can farm quite a lot of alz. My current alz farm setup emits more than 140M per hour / per account. You may find a few farming hints here but I think most people will keep their best methods private.
