Could be but it is a risk to trust on that opinion ofcourse for people who want to be sure, they should just not hack or bot for a little while imo... Won't hurt to try at least

Seconded.

They don't have the means to do anything more than what they've done until now. They don't have any more people working on game management than they have had until now nor are they any less lazy than before.

My guess is they feel pressure to do something after the last couple weeks of hack disclosures in here and try to be pre-emptive against people who now have an idea of how to create their custom hacks which render GameGuard useless. There's not much they could do TBH.

I call bullshit on this.

i third that. once people find a way to remove gameguard, the game itself is wide open to be dismantled and can completely destroy the game. i say its all for show.

Been caught this morning and got my pretty temp ban (7 day) for 3rd party something xD Only ever used in dungeons as well. Well time to lay low for awhile now.

The ban is not the issue for me what the issue is how they pick up on it I never nsd and only used WH and AoE inside dungeons Hell I never even AFK'd

Didn't finish dungeons? Didn't get ECs?

If answer is "no" on both maybe it's time to take another look at what exactly does the client do when it phones home. I don't know how comprehensive the logging is in the server end but maybe someone who has managed a pserver at some point has at least a slight idea.

And yeah, who cares about bans - 2 days and you're back on a roll.

only finished the dungeons that i could complete the quests to and of course in a respectable time none of this IC2 in 10 minutes. Only had some dc's but that was due to my connection dropping (**** ADSL line). Wouldn't mind but been using hacks/bots in cabal since Cabal Rider came out free to use. Think I'l go legt for a few days when the ban is up.

Actualy, they are a bit more active than some while ago. And to Apok12, now it is a 7day ban because the 'system' auto-banned you, now you are flagged, 1 more mistake and you'll lose it permanently (happend to my old WA when the temp bans just got introduced)

Also had another temp ban on another char, kept that one clean to see if it would make a difference, and bibidibabidiboo that one is still unbanned.

Conclusion: with the experience I have with getting bans, the temp ban realy is your last chance, if they then notice you are doing something fishy, you will get a ban.

Do you play CabalEU ?
Did you get an email were they say it's tempban for 7 days ?

I had some ban's this night.
I create my cheats on my own so i never used any cheats provided here,never used fixedmain, never had dc, only cheat in dg with nsd + relog before dc, never cleared dungeon.
Even accounts got banned were i never used wh or aoe.

Yeah think il keep that account clean or just transfer what I can (Char transfer ) and play *cough*legit*cough*. This aint my first ban had 2 excluding this one since I got caught in the script that banned loads of players 4 yrs ago or so and another time for a payment problem.

No Email was received had to message Support and they answered the same day stating it was a 7 day ban (first legit ban aswell). I played on EU now I moved to the ps3 for awhile since there aint any other good mmo's out right now that suit me.

I never used NSD/NCD only AoE and WH and finished dungeons that I could do the whole thing anyway.

Their log's seem to log very nice, since so many Accounts of me got banned .. no public cheats used and no dc's here.
