CABAL RIDER 1.05 & 1.06 PH NO CONTROL PANEL SOLVED!!! (07/06/08 - 4:15 pm)

Finally after hours of testing different ways of making cabal rider work i've now figured out why the control panel for cabal rider is not showing.. it's because of your anti-virus.. even though you disable it via right click in system tray it is still running in your system..

Steps to disable your antivirus
1. go to start then click run
2. type msconfig.exe
3. at the start up tab locate ur anti virus and uncheck it then click on apply dont restart yet..
4. go to services start up then locate your antivirus.. like for example if ur using nod32 locate nod32krn.exe then uncheck it.. after that apply and click ok then restart..

After restart run cabal rider 1.05 or 1.06 any will do then login and start game .. and btw don't delete ur gameguard folder...

if you think the steps above is hard.. i have a better way that is to uninstall ur antivirus XD.. (but for me don't do it just follow the steps above)..

For bitdefender users:

click on start then click run then type msconfig den on STARTUP tab uncheck the following.

bdagent

Services tab
Bitdefender Communicator>
Bitdefender Virus Shield>
Bitdefender Threat Scanner>

YOU CAN GET VIRUSES AND KEY LOGGERS WITH THAT METHOD...

BETTER STICK TO CB+CR 1.0.3 METHOD...... WORKS FINE WITH ME....

i tryed to disable it but it enables automatically, so i decided to uninstall it...But after i restart it,The control panel still not activated

what specifically is your anti virus?

try also using symantec antivirus....

that also helps.....

if you have a lot of RAM try Bitdefender...

no this is not the fix...im not using any antivirus in my shop but still sometimes the control dont show up...we just retry to relogin the cabalrider then it will work

it works on me.. i just hit the botton END ayun lalabas na yun control panel

what antivirus are you using?.. try procexp and autoruns at sysinternals.com den disable it using the said application..

for those who made it work good job... and to those who don't try and try... mine is working fine.. when i enable my av again it stops working.. but when i disable it starts working again..
