Okay, I just wanted to put this up because I got tired of reading through posts/topics which discussed the same thing - why does my cabalrider does not work?

What I will share here is my personal troubleshooting process and I hope it helps you make your cabalrider work and minimize the number of posts/topics (as I defined above). I won't promise to cover everything in this thread but I will update it should I encounter new solutions.


cabalrider not working - common scenarios:

a. Game loads but does not go to login screen, guardguard says that it has detected a 3rd party program and displays that ".erl message" and says that I have to restart the game

b. Game loads> able to login to server> but Cabalrider BOT consoles/control windows do not appear

c. Game loads> able to login to server> can see and use Cabalrider BOT consoles/control windows> but got disconnected a few minutes (even seconds) into the game

*** now what do you do when you experience one of these?

1st step: CHECK FILES. Make sure that you have up-to-date gameguard files/client with respect to the server that you play in. It may take a while but trust me, this usually solves your botting problem. How do you do this?

a. Run CABAL client/updater.
b. Do not start the game.
c. CHECK FILES.
d. The updater will now check the contents of your CABAL Online game folder and will update your client with the latest patch if necessary (and YES, including game guard)
e. Once completed, do not start the game, close the updater and try to run the game with your cabalrider

*** Do not ever delete your gameguard/x-trap folder, it won't help unless you have a bypass. if this does not solve your problem then proceed to 2nd step.

2nd step: TRY TO USE A BYPASS. Use the search engine in this forum to find the bypass for the server that you play in. (the most common bypass that I know is cabal bot - run cabalbot but start the game with cabalrider)

a. Download and install bypass.
b. Run the bypass.
c. Run and start the game through cabalrider

*** if the first two steps still doesn't solve your problem then proceed to 3rd step


3rd step: RESTART ALL OVER AGAIN.

a. Delete all your BOT program files, even your bypass.
b. Re-install the updated versions of the BOT and bypass
c. Run and start the game through cabalrider.

*** if you have the time, you can also try re-install the game itself before running again all BOT programs.


IF THESE 3 STEPS STILL DOESN'T MAKE YOUR CABALRIDER/BOT WORK FOR YOU, THEN MY HOPES ARE LOST FOR YOU UNTIL WE FIND A NEW SOLUTION. xD

some unusual methods of making your cabalrider work:
it worked for some, might work for yours ^ ^

method x1.
a. Run cabal updater
b. Do not start game from cabal updater
c. Run cabalrider and login
d. Start the game through cabalrider.
e. When your already in the game, close the cabal updater

method x2.
a. Run cabal updater
b. Run cabalrider and login
b. Click on Start Game in cabal updater
c. When gameguard loads and updates, click on 'Cancel' before it completes
d. Start the game through cabalrider.

method x3.
a. Run cabalrider and login
b. Run another cabalrider and login a different bot account
c. Start game from the first cabalrider window

good job, i would also like to add that if you get gameguard error(not hack detected) while using cabalrider, there is a big chance that some of your running processes conflicts with cabalrider and gameguard.

cabal rider auto hp pot and auto mp pot doesnt seem to work for me... got any suggestion for this..? and cabal rider cant go back to its robot point if it is farther than its radius... which is not supposed to happen.....
got any suggestion or methods to fix these problems??

i added some unusual methods that other players posted to make cabalrider work smoothly... i find method x1 really effective =)

Hi Cabalrey, Can you help me? Problem: I can manage to log in game thru CR 1.0.6 but the bot window doesnt pop up and sometimes when I try to run the CR I get an error something like "cant read memory address". Any idea how to fix it? Tnx!

Hi there, I suggest that you delete all your existing bot files and folders and start again from scratch.

hellow cabalrey... I had a problem about my CR, when I click the start nothing happened it will closed then Game Start Process Error appear on my screen...what can I do about this error? I've been tried the 3 method still Game Start Process Error

Hello there, try to check on the gameinfo file in your cabalrider folder and make sure that it points to the correct location of the cabalmain executable file,

if you don't get what i mean above, simply delete the gameinfo file from your cabalrider ph folder and restart it, you will be asked to locate the cabalmain.exe file in the process.
