All this does is times the button push. If your skills take longer to use then increase the time. If they take a shorter amount of time, shorten it. It's not that hard, tweak it yourself. I just barely got QMacro the other day and I have already created a combo bot for my skill farming skills and for my AoE skills which have longer cool downs. I'm also working on making my own bot and a way to make it combo and sleep to travel to the next mob without messing the combo up. Also, you may want to set it to use a MP potion before the auto mp potion goes off. The potion goes off and it will delay it for a split millisecond, thus, ending the combo. Just do it on the 4th line, tell it to push - and then go back to combo'ing. Geez, you guys like EVERYTHING to be done for you O_O

I don't know anything about this program, thats why I can't get it to work properly or fix it to my needs.

I decided not to use it, Dummies ftw.

the time/delay is kinda vary depend on computer, since my laptop has only around 50-60fps it is kinda hard to do these combo, so i tweak the delay a little, and got to 1067, which give me 20-21 hits combo max, more or less than 1067 give me a lower hit combo, so i suggest u guys to tweak it for your own use

i didnt got my magic skills all at level 5, it was like 3-4-2 etc and it work fine, i got to 5-5-4 now, i hope it will work better at 5-5-5, can someone tell me why it has to be 5-5-5 (all at level5)?

(another none related to this topic question: does anyone know if the speed hack ce still work? and where can i get it? thanks)

This macro works great with magic but can anyone help me out on what the delays should be for sword skills? My magic is already at transcender but my sword is only expert.

The 3 skills I use are Rising shot, impact stab, flash draw. I tweak around with the delays for about an hour now and I just can't get it down, not to mention a lot of times when I run the macro normally it sometimes skips over number 2 or skips over number 1 .

it work only with magic dude, cuz of the walking and stuff gonna mess up the timing

Yes I know, but all I need to find is a monster with a lot of hp since wizard sword skill suck it do almost no damage so I can keep comboing for a long time.

Any monster with a + would be best. I think they have 2x more hp then the regulars but don't quote me on that.

Is there anyway to improvise this to fit my 3 LVL9 novice skills, each with 1.3sec casting time instead of the 1.8 needed?

i'm going to make an update in terms of some recent tests i did using qmacro. maybe it could help out some people.


NOTES:
- all of the following values were calculated using a minimum of 40 tests each, save for the asterisked (spell check) value, which was tested 20 times before a conclusion was drawn.

- i played cabal using the x-trap disabler available on this site

- the monster i was comboing to test these were moscutter queens in GD, close to the dungeon entrance at the end.

- all the settings were done using minimal graphical demand, meaing: wearing no cape, no helmet, windowed mode, exited chat window, exited exp window, exited map, all settings using least possible and refresh rate at 60

- yes, i'm a nerd, and i literally did do this 40 times for each value.

- while doing combos, i was leveling sword skills (as a blader) and therefore used the force-change upgrade skill. However, from what i could tell, sword levels much faster than magic does in comboing.

OBSERVATIONS:
- "common work mode" seems to fluctuate much less than other mode. its general range of execution was shorter than that of the non-USB mode (or whatever its called)

- i was never able to draw conclusive results from the other mode, as the combos i got each time differed greatly. therefore, all values presented are from common work mode.

- i experimented leveling all the novice magic skills to 6 instead of 5, and found my combos stayed consistent for longer.

- it takes what would roughly be a 200 chain combo (or what would be a little more than 3 minutes) in order to gain 1 skill level

- the best monster to combo (though much more risky due to being a quest monster) are Bugshark+. this is due to the fact that there are 3 of them which spawn all relatively close to eachother, all who will pull aggro (as well as normal mobs) if you stand in the middle of the island. in terms of comboing, it takes roughly 430 combo hits to kill one, meaning you can gain about 2 skill levels for each Bugshark+ that you kill. i say bugshark+s are the best for macro grinding because i wasn't able to find ghoul+ or phantom crew+, and i havent gotten to fort ruina yet, so, yeah....

- the above conclusion was drawn after comboing stone golems, dark bladers, pertyon+ (sp check), and bugshark+

- instead of using no equipment to macro train, use either training equipment or the lowest grade you can, this way, you can still buff yourself. i saw the same damage output comboing bugshark+ with low equips as without, however, my potion intake was greatly reduced by being able to buff myself (def and def.rate buffs).

- having level 20 buffs greatly helps, because they last for 945 seconds, which is about how long it takes to kill 2 bugshark+

- demanding the absolute least of your graphics greatly affects the precision of your combos. so try to end as many processes as you can. with everything exited and using a much smaller window size, i found that my combos lasted much longer.

- if i constantly had a target to combo, and nobody around me, i averaged around 18 skill levels per hour.

- use above-head view. just trust me. it helps.

- letting auto mp-pot refil your magic WILL throw off the timing of the macro, so you WILL have to refil it yourself in order to keep your combo going. (same with using health capsules)


VALUE TESTING: so, 1027 miliseconds wasn't quite working for me, here are the average combos i was able to achieve using other settings (rounding up or down accordingly):

1027: 52
1025: 23
1029: 66
1035: 89
1031: 127*

so, 1031 miliseconds seems to work the best.

after using 1031, i combined that time setting with using the least graphical demands of my computer and found that my combos NEVER ENDED (as long as i had a monster to target). the highest combo i did before i (willingly) canceled combo mode was 923 (2 bugshark+). i just got paranoid thinking i might get banned if my combo hit 4 digits (not sure if that was something the server would have recorded)

anyway, i hope this helps. thank you to thread poster for introducing me to macros, and to user who tested 1027 miliseconds in common work mode, i probably wouldn't have made these adjustments without using common work mode.

i assume u tested that with the novice magic skill? lol and yah i done the combo near bugshark+ b4 it was great cept...suddenly some guy appear near me..which scared me and my combo stopped at 1xx lol..XD not ban yet so i guess he didn't see but gosh this combo thing can give u a good scare >_< so be careful guys

i think we should try and find the math equation to the milliseconds lol

Yea having the equation would greatly help. I did a buncha research to find out 1000 millisecond is one second but our novice magic skills are 1.8 cast time yet using 1027 milliseconds work for comboing. I know that you can cast faster when you're doing a combo than just spamming spells, that's why comboing gives the fastest skill up.

If we could figure out how to relate skill cast time/animation to milliseconds then you could make a combo macro for any skill. I tried doing more tests with my sword skills but the problem is that the 3 basic skills I have are so inconsistent in casting/animation times that it is hard to even get down the delay for just one skill let alone 3.

If anyone has delays for any of the 3 basic sword skills, even getting the delay down for one skill, it would be great help so that I can figure out the delays to use for the other 2.

i wouldnt shatter 75 more than once a day.
i'd NEVER shatter 125+

break the combo and restart it once your sp refills...
