Simulating Keypresses in game

I am currently trying to send keystrokes to a game but no matter what method i try; PostMessage,Sendkey,keybd_event,etc...nothing seems to work. I have looked around and it seems like anti hacks like XTrap and Game Guard protect this but the game im playing has neither. I am making this into a DLL so I dont know if this would be simpler this way or harder. The game that I am trying to do this for is Perfect World just in case anyone was curious

Tried a Keyboard hook? If you use Google you should find something about that

Hi folks, usually I am not releasing my stuff. But here is a small hint for "do it yourself" people, how to simulate keystrokes for Warhammer Online.
